Regular Bomb

This is our "basic" building block for our pyro effects. Many of our other effects incorporate this effect as the part of the overall effect.

Double Bomb

"Double Fuel Double Bomb" with LARGE fire and explosion. This is our larger version of the "Regular Bomb" which incorporates a different mix of explosive materials to create a bigger fireball and a much louder and deeper sounding "boom". This is our "Belly Shaker"

A-10 Bomb

An effect designed specifically to meet U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command specifications for use with the U.S. Air Force A-10 Demo.

Cluster Bomb

This is a series of rapidly exploding bombs progressing across the ground. Most of the bombs are not finding their "mark", but several do, with the resulting simulation of "hits".

Walking Bomb Run

This is a series of bombs ("Regular" or "Double") moving rhythmically across the ground. They can be strung together to any required length, spaced at different intervals and / or different speeds of progression. This is one of Rich's favorite night shots. It usually gets people calling 911.

Regular Strafe

"Regular Strafe" and ending "hit" with fire and explosion. This is what could be called a "Hollywood Strafe". It incorporates dust at each bullet hit with an ending explosion and fire to simulate a "hit"

Hot Strafe

"Hot Strafe" and ending "hit" with LARGE fire and explosion. This "Hot Strafe" was invented by Rich's Incredible Pyro. It has become one of our most sought after effects. Instead of using dust at each bullet hit (as in the "Regular Strafe") we have substituted fuel, which generates a very entertaining and stimulating effect.

Enhanced Hot Strafe

"Enhanced Hot Strafe" and ending hit with explosion and LARGE fire. This effect was designed specifically for the U.S. Air Force A-10 pyro demonstration and meets U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command specifications for use with the A-10 Demo. This effect has a different combination of explosives associated with each bullet hit to give it a much more "authoritative" sound than our other versions of the strafing run. You must hear it to appreciate it!

Napalm

This effect is sometimes called a "Mini Wall" It is usually about 300 feet in length. It is our version of the typical napalm effect you see on TV or at the theater. A nice low cost effect with a lot of "Bang for the Buck"

Phosphorus Special Effects

This effect, as far as we know, is an exclusive in the airshow industry of Rich's Incredible Pyro. This effect shows best at night. As seen in the picture, it make a dazzling eruption of flame, sparks and noise almost 100 feet high. We use anywhere from eight to thirty of these effects, in conjunction with our other effects spaced up and down the crowd line, to literally set the night on fire.

Wall of Fire

This is our "signature" effect. We have been hired worldwide just to produce this one effect. It is truly incredible. You have to see it, hear it, and feel it (yes, feel it). The flash of heat travels at light speed and takes the spectators by surprise. They were expecting to see and hear something, but when the first thing they notice is the flash of heat, they are totally surprised. They were not ready for that. The flash of heat travels an amazing distance and can readily be felt to the far corners of the airshow grounds. Amazing as the heat flash is, the sound is also incredible. It is not uncommon for car alarms to be triggered all over the parking grounds.

The "Wall of Fire" can be made to any length, 1000 feet being the most common. Rich's Incredible Pyro has established two Guinness World Records for the longest "Wall of Fire" with a third record pending. The "Wall of Fire" is especially dramatic at night. The reflection in the night sky is visible for miles, attracting attention for the airshow from all over the community. At some locations, we actually set off a second "Wall of Fire" that is even bigger and closer than the first! This usually leaves the spectators absolutely stunned.

We are often told: "They came to see the jet team, but left talking about Rich's Incredible Pyro".

World Record Wall

A World record Wall of Fire can be done at larger airshows where the room to layout several thousand feet is available. Currently the record stands at 3600 feet.

Rich's Incredible Pyro has developed off the shelf "Packages" of various effects to compliment various acts. Current packages available are:
